프랑스어 문법 :: L'hypothèse avec Si (Si를 이용한 가정법)

프랑스어 문법을 공부하다 보니 고등학교 때 영어 문법을 공부하던 끔찍한 기억이 떠오른다. 문법 용어들을 한국말로 번역하면 오히려 그 의미를 직관적으로 받아들이기가 더 어려워지는 기이한 현상이 발생한다. 

 

영문법에서도 If를 사용한 가정법? 조건법? 뭐 용어가 뭐였든 그게 되게 어려웠던 것 같다. 영어로 해도 어려운데 프랑스어로 하려니까 더 어려워서 정리가 필요할 것 같아서 한번 끄적여본다. 사실 문법 공부에는 되도록 시간을 안 쓰려했지만 이 내용이 너무 많이 나와서 한 번은 정리를 해야겠다 싶었다.

 

일단 용어 정리. 내가 맞게 이해한 건지는 모르겠지만. 난 영어로 하는 게 더 편하다. 괜히 한국말 문법 용어 쓰면 더 어렵다.

 

1. 가정법 L'hypothèse

 : 이건 문장 구조 자체를 의미하는 말 같다. Si절이 들어가는 절과 앞에 절이 합쳐진 문장.

2. 조건법 Le conditionnel

 : 이건 동사의 시제를 의미한다. 문장 구조를 의미하는 게 아니다. 

 

이 두가지를 구분해 내는 게 어려웠다. 독학의 한계다. 한국어로 번역해놓으니 조건법 가정법 뭐가 뭔지 모르겠다.

 

암튼 이 글은 1. 가정법을 정리하는 글이다. 그리고 아래 나오는 예문들은 아씨밀과 핌슬러에서 가져왔다. 근데 각 문장들이 각 시제에 부합하는지는 나도 확실하지가 않다.

1. Si Present + Future 

Si vous prenez un taxi, vous aurez votre train.
If you take a taxi, you'll get your train.

Je te laisserais tranquille, si tu ne vas pas n'importe où avec n'importe qui.

I'll let you alone, if you don't go no matter where with no matter who.

 

Si j'étais toi, je jeterais un coup d'œil aux deux-pieces.

If I were you, I would take a look at 2-rooms.

 

Vous vous sentirez mal si vous ne dormez pas assez.

You will feel bad if you don't sleep enough.

 

2. Si Imperfect + Conditional

Si vous preniez un taxi, vous auriez votre train.
If you took a taxi, you would get your train.

Si je portais le tableau, je pourrais mettre les boucles d'oreilles en-or dans mon sac.

If I carried the painting, I could put the gold earrings in my bag.

 

Si je lavais tes affaires, tu pourrais changer le pneu à plat ?

If I washed your stuffs, could you change the flat tire?

 

Si j'achetais les deux tableaus, vous pourriez me faire un prix ?

If i were buying two paintings, could you give me a price?

 

Si j'étais américain, j'aurais voté pour lui.

If I were american, I would have voted for him.

 

Si j'étais vous, je n'hésiterais plus.

If I were you, I wouldn't hesitate no more.

 

Si c'était l'hiver, il ferais friod.

If it were winter, it would be cold.

 

Si j'avais un grand sac, je ne pourrais pas porter ce tableau.

If I had a big bag, I couldn't carry this painting.

 

Si je vous donnais le numero, vous pourriez l'appeler?

If i give you the number, could you call him?

 

Si j'avais su, j'aurais voté pour quelqu'un d'autre.

If I had known, I would have voted someone else.

 

3. Si Past Perfect + Past Conditional

Si vous aviez pris un taxi, vous auriez eu votre train.
If you had taken a taxi, you would have got your train.
